From their pretty terrace you are face to face with the iconic Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam. Open all day, every day.
The nhow Bar is probably the hotel bar with the most dramatic view of Rotterdam. It’s definitely worth to take the elevator to the 7th floor of the nhow Hotel in the De Rotterdam building at the Wilhelmina Pier to enjoy the views of the river Maas. From the terrace of nhow Bar you see the Euromast Tower on your left hand side and on your right you are face to face with the Erasmus Bridge. The nhow Bar is a brand new concept in Rotterdam, inspired by the Sirocco bar in Bangkok and the rooftop bars in Shanghai.
Nhow hotel guests have breakfast at the nhow Bar area, but also if you’re just visiting you can have breakfast at 19. The classic ‘hotel dishes’ such as a Burger, a club sandwich and a soup are on the lunch menu. You can also have dinner at the nhow Bar. The most wanted seats and tables are at the hypermodern roof top outdoor terrace. If it’s chilly outside, you’ll get a blanket to keep you warm.
The setting at the nhow lounge Bar is hip and sleek, but certainly not bombastic. The menu prices are reasonable (lunch at 15, dinner main course at 20). Perhaps the evening hour is the best timing to visit the nhow Rotterdam roof top terrace. You can have a drink, while enjoying the sunset with the illuminated skyline of Rotterdam. On Friday and Saturday night a DJ spices up the nhow Bar until 2 am in the morning.
