Zuidplein Mall in the South of Rotterdam is only 10 minutes away from Rotterdam city centre by metro service. With an surface of 55,000 square meters, Zuidplein is the largest shopping mall of the Netherlands and currently attracts 10 million visitors annually. This indoor mall is the place-to-be for a complete and fun day out. This shopping mall is indoor, so you can go shopping even on a rainy day!
The Zuidplein Mall Rotterdam offers about 155 stores with a great diversity in brands and a food court. The shops are located on the first floor of the mall; at ground level there is a large public parking with 1400 parking spots, a secure bicycle parking, storage space and a bus station. You can take the stairs or the elevator from the parking and find yourself between all the shops!
When you follow our shopping tour, you won’t miss any shop at Zuidplein! Our shopping tour starts at the mall entrance opposite to the underground station Zuidplein. Once you’re in the mall, enter the shopping street on the right, where you find the big department store C&A and the We Store with a large collection of ladies, men and kids wear. At the We Store you can make a small detour to the small street on the right, where Blokker and Kijkshop are located.
On the main square a foodcourt is located, as well as the department stores V&D and HEMA. On this square opposite to HEMA, you can buy tasty and fresh waffles (so called stroopwafels). Walk across this square direction McDonalds, the Bart Smit toy store, Coolcat and H&M fashion stores and turn right at Stylo shoes for a small detour along a number of smaller boutiques. Back at Stylo shoes, continue along Xenos and KFC and turn left. Here you’ll find the KKEC gift shop and the women’s fashion shop Manzaram. A little further on the left you will find kiosk Populair, where they sell many nice Rotterdam souvenirs.
At the main square, opposite to the Aktion sports shop you will find Bram Ladage where they sell delicious french fries. They are very popular in in Rotterdam and even got their own slogan: eat a Brammetje! Now go right towards Douglas perfumery and towards the New Yorker clothing store, the e-plaza game store and Hönkemöller lingerie. Now you’re back at the entrance of the Zuidplein underground station! You will see many other nice stores during your shopping tour in the Zuidplein Mall such as fashion shops, shoe shops and nail salons!
The sale in Zuidplein Mall normally starts in summer from mid-June and in winter from mid-december.
