Loftboat Visithor is a unique Bed and Breakfast in Rotterdam and the name says it all: you spend the night on board! This ship which was built in 1955 has lived a rough live in the port of Rotterdam and has been transformed into a modern Bed and Breakfast. On board, Loftboat Visithor offers two modern and spacious private apartments, which gives you the opportunity to spend the night in a unique accommodation in Rotterdam.
Both apartments on board Loftboat Visithor in Rotterdam have their own entrance and have recently completely been renovated. The bright salon offers a cosy wood-burning stove, a television set, a CD/DVD player, stereo with i-pod connection and wireless internet. You can also do your own cooking on board, as both apartments have a fully equipped kitchen. There are also a private bathroom with modern sanitary facilities. Each apartment on board Loftboat Visithor has a double bed and sleeps two extra persons on a sofa bed. If you decide to book both apartments, Loftboat Visithor has a total sleeping capacity of eight persons. Upon your arrival bed linen and towels are ready for use. At an additional fee, breakfast is brought to your apartment. When the weather is nice you can sit outside on the deck and enjoy the hustle and bustle of downtown Rotterdam.
The Loftboot Visithor is moored at Wijnhaven in the middle of Rotterdam city centre and opposite to the Maritime Museum Rotterdam. Metro station Beurs is located within walking distance and the underground takes you to the best attractions and sights such as Spido Harbour Tours, the Erasmus Bridge, the Maritime Quarter, the Wilhelmina Pier, the museum steamer ss Rotterdam, the historic Hotel New York and the Euromast panorma tower. There is an impressive choise of restaurants within walking distance and the large Rotterdam shopping areas Lijnbaan and Beurstraverse are also next door.
