Brand new shopping experience at Coolsingel. Open Winter 2017/2018.
Shopping in Rotterdam city centre will get a huge boost the next couple of years. The outdated ABN AMRO office skyscraper at Coolsingel will be demolished and a brand new shopping mall will rise: Forum Rotterdam. The characteristic design of Forum Rotterdam by Rem Koolhaas is already called the cube mall. The historic building with the green roof will be fully renovated and will contain lots of big stores. This ancient bank building forms a great contrast with the highly modern glass construction, that’s typical Rotterdam architecture!
The focus of Forum Rotterdam is on large double storey shops, with space for international flagship stores, but Forum Rotterdam also offers a food court, a hotel, an underground parking garage, offices and at the top of the cube there will be space for luxury apartments.
Forum Rotterdam is located in the heart of the city and is seamlessly connected to the Beurstraverse underground mall. Forum Rotterdam is accessible via van Oldenbarneveltstraat, Binnenweg Square and Lijnbaan shopping areas!
